Phone Grip Compatibility

UNICOLOOM magnetic phone grips are designed for everyday holding, scrolling, and styling when used with a secure magnetic setup. Use this guide before attaching a grip to your phone.

What you need

  • A MagSafe-compatible phone or a case with a compatible magnetic ring.
  • A clean, flat, smooth, and dry contact surface.
  • A case that is not unusually thick, heavily textured, soft, or uneven around the magnetic area.

Magnetic hold can vary with case material, thickness, surface texture, magnetic structure, and ring placement. Not every phone case is compatible.

Before everyday use

  1. Wipe the case and magnetic surfaces clean and dry.
  2. Center the grip carefully over the case's magnetic ring.
  3. Check the hold over a soft surface before lifting the phone.
  4. Recheck alignment if the grip shifts or feels uneven.

Use limits

A magnetic phone grip is an everyday handling accessory, not a protective handle or a guarantee against drops. Do not swing, shake, or pull the phone by the grip. Stop using it if the grip, case, or magnetic ring is damaged or no longer holds securely.

Removal and wireless charging

To remove the grip, slide or push it sideways from the edge of the magnetic ring. Do not pull the decorative top straight upward. Remove the grip before wireless charging, then confirm secure alignment again before use.

Using a third-party magnetic ring

If your case does not have a built-in compatible magnetic ring, use only an accessory intended for that case and surface. Follow its manufacturer's installation instructions and allow any adhesive to set fully before testing. UNICOLOOM cannot verify every third-party case or magnetic ring.
